Identity Discovery

I will start by saying that I have not read the first two books in this series. I was approached by the author to see if I was interested in reviewing this book, and I honestly didn't even think to ask if I needed to read the first two books before reading this one. That said, you will be happy to know that you do not have to read them in order. It is entirely possible that you learn some information about the characters in the previous books in this one, but I think that it won't be enough to ruin any of them.

This is a very quick read seeing as I finished it in about three hours. It jumps right into the action and gives you something to think about throughout. The main female character, Roni, starts off the story by being beaten by her husband. She has called her twin brother to come rescue her and she escapes with minimal injuries. Her soon-to-be ex-husband is not so lucky, but once the main part of the story gets going, you will find that whatever happened to her husband is the last thing on your mind. Instead you will be going back and forth between what is going through Roni's mind/heart and what is going through Rich's. Rich is the main mail character who has been longing to be with Roni for quite some time. Of course he is shocked to learn about her history from his time in college yet he is still willing to be there for her. You will find yourself wanting to keep reading to discover where their relationship will go, how Roni manages to rebuild herself, and have a few exciting moments to enjoy as well. It was very entertaining.
