Identity Discovery

I love reading and writing books. I am a book blogger, but I am also a published author, mom, wife, and homemaker.
The Vampire Relationship Guide: Secrets and Trust - Evelyn Lafont The first book was all about Josie accomplishing her ultimate fantasy of sleeping with a vampire. Well in this book, Josie has accomplished that goal, but now she doesn't know where to go from here. She was almost killed last time and has to take time off from her bridal shop in order to get her life back in order. She made a bunch of money for helping capture a rogue vampire (even though she wasn't really trying to do that at all) and is in need of a vacation. She ended up dating Walker in the end of the last book and their relationship is taking on a more serious turn through out this second book. The question is, how do you actually have a serious relationship with a man that is who knows how many centuries older than you and treats you as if every move he makes could be the death of you? How do you get a vampire to share their life story when they have spent years perfecting keeping themselves a secret? How do you get him to trust that you aren't going to leave for a human because he can't do something as simple as go to the mall to shop? Ok...so really there are a lot of questions that come to mind when dating a vampire. Josie is determined to get answers though. What she doesn't expect is that her vampire is actually madly in love with her and will do anything to keep her safe. His job is a constant threat to her life since he seeks out rogue vampires. His twin brother causes more problems since Josie almost sleeps with him unknowingly. His secrets cause a lot of problems and he must learn to open up if he intends to spend the rest of her lifetime with her. Again this is a quick read and very entertaining. By the way, are you wondering what other creatures lurk in the shadows in this world? If vampires exist, what about shape shifters? Zombies? Fairies? You will have to read this book to see what other things go "bouncing" in the night.
